The athletes impressed spectators and dignitaries alike with their exceptional performances and sportsmanship on the second day of the event.
On the first day, badminton was played in Shastri Badminton Hall, matches were played there. In the SL-4 women’s category, Saniya from Malerkotla won first position and got second position Navjot from Ludhiana. Anmol from Muktsar Sahib also entered the third position.
In the wheelchair category-2, Paramjit Singh from Patiala defeated Ashwani Kumar from Ludhiana second and Suresh Kumar from Moga became third.
The occasion was attended by Punjab Para Sports Association’s general secretary, Jaspreet Singh, Gagandeep Singh with Badminton Coordinator Rakesh Kumar.
